Motherhood portraits in the Art for Life 'Vanity Fair' experience. Studio portraiture that is all glamour, as well as romantic outdoor sunlit portraits in both posed and candid styling. Epic dress shots & tasteful skin-to-skin, I love conceptualizing a ‘couture’ photoshoot for my clients that is filled with all the beautiful ways a mama & child can be photographed. Delivering an amazing experience during the photoshoot is how I create elegant, romantic and artistic motherhood portraiture.

Motherhood Photography Guide
Motherhood PHOTOGRAPHY STYLING
To create the motherhood images of your dreams we first need to think about the styling of your photoshoot. There are three options available: Studio Portraiture, Sunlit Photography {on location} or a combination of both at the Art for Life location.
Studio Portraiture
The Art for Life Photography studio space is perfect for creating the 'Vanity Fair' images of your dreams. A range of hand-painted backdrops are available to create 'painting' style portraits. Portraits with a black or white background are crafted in this space. It's comfortable, private & perfect for intimate photography.
Golden sunlight in beautiful scenery sets the perfect backdrop. On location, or at the Art for Life location in long grass with trees, these sessions are for the outdoor mamas.
Sunlit Photography
The images above are examples of the way Motherhood Portraits are 'conceptualised'. From 'couture' in the studio, to a 'trash the dress' style 'feeding' portrait on location. Your photoshoot will be created especially for you. When you book, there will be a styling consultation process that begins with a questionnaire.
Styling
The Art for Life Photography closet includes a stunning range of Couture gowns, and all of the speciality Maternity gowns are versatile and can be paired with any Motherhood Photography Session. You can read more about that on the Mama Styling Page Here
Mama's are welcome to bring their own outfit options. In fact, I encourage all my Mama's to bring a favourite or new garment to personalise your gallery. If you prefer to choose from the Art for Life Closet, all of your outfit considerations are already solved.
